We belong to the world's leading manufacturers of specialised electronic instruments and mechanical fuel samplers for the mining and energy industries. We specialise in the design and implementation of coal quality management systems for coal homogenisation. Our activities also include the production of online analysers for continuous measurement of coal quality and the production of automatic fuel samplers. We also produce oxygen analysers to optimise combustion in power stations, heating plants, industrial boiler rooms and incinerators.
Our other services follow on from this programme. We supply fire-prevention thermal imaging systems for non-contact temperature measurement in energy, industry, metallurgy, construction and security applications. We also install industrial camera systems for harsh environments.
The ENELEX company is located in Chvaletice, Czech Republic. We deliver all our products to customers worldwide. We carry out installations in Europe, Asia, Africa, and America. Abroad, we cooperate with local companies. Our goal is quality and long-term cooperation on an international level. History of ENELEX
The integration of the Czech Republic into the European Union resulted in a number of tasks for our post-socialist country to ensure the rapid improvement of the environment.
In the 1990s, ENELEX products became a reliable domestic pillar of the mining and energy restructuring programme.
Now, after decades of development and experience, we can proudly say that they are an integral part of modern management systems in our plants around the world, leading to significant energy savings and emission reductions.

Enelex's history dates back to 1983 when the Elektronika Group was established within the then-state-owned company Energostroj Chvaletice to develop and manufacture specialised electronic equipment for the power industry.

In 1984, the Elektronika Group started the first field tests of its own analogue versions of gamma ash meters and flue gas oxygen analysers.
Since 1985, its employees have been concentrating on combustion and fuel quality control issues for power plants and on the development of new types of oxygen analysers and gamma ash meters.
By 1990, Elektronika had manufactured and installed more than 500 oxygen analysers and 100 gamma ash meters in Czechoslovakia and, within the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance and abroad.

The Elektronika Group also participated in the development and production of entrance turnstiles to the controlled zones of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant and special equipment for health care. After the independence of the Elektrárna (Power plant) Chvaletice from ČEZ (Czechoslovak Energetic Plants, ČEZ in Czech) and the increased emphasis on machine production, the Elektronika Group was in danger of disappearing, so on October 1st, 1991, most of the members of the development team founded their own company called ENELEX Ltd. In 1992, the new company Enelex completed the development of the GE 1100S gamma ash monitor controlled by the 8080 microprocessor and started production. Based on the same processor, the development and production of the computer-controlled oxygen analysers AE 1200 (with its own calibration, designed for large power boilers) and AE 500.T. (with pre-heated probe for local automated heating plants). Both instruments quickly gained a large share of the Czech market. Within two years, gamma ash meters had become an integral part of mine control systems in all mines in the Czech Republic, and in 1997 they were supplemented with an additional unit of semi-automatic calibrator, which increased the speed and comfort of their control in operation.

In 1993, we expanded our production programme by installing special EEZ and EPS camera systems for the energy and coal industry (electronic security and fire protection systems). Since 2005, we have been able to protect individual cameras, where necessary, with special HE housings developed by us, enabling our systems to operate in the most demanding industrial conditions with high dust levels or under the influence of extreme temperatures.

In 2000, we introduced a new type of GE 2000 gamma ash analyser and a new type of AE 2200 oxygen analyser while upgrading the AE 500.T oxygen analyser. Using new technologies, we have improved the accuracy, speed, and stability of measurements in these instruments compared to older models. The new features, together with simplified control and standardisation of PC connections, have made our products successful in the Czech Republic and in demand abroad.

In 2000, we launched a world innovation: an automatic thermal imaging warning system for the protection of coal stockpiles against self-igniting fires. We have been developing this system since 1998 for a specific application in an open-cast coal homogenisation stockpile. We are constantly improving the system and developing new applications in other industries. There is a lot of interest in this technology around the world, but the relatively high purchase price of thermal imaging cameras has hindered its massive expansion.
In 2005, we delivered four large thermal imaging systems to South Korea to secure coal stockpiles at power stations. In the Czech Republic, during the same period, we secured a municipal waste dump, a tyre dump in a cement factory building and the aforementioned coal dump.

This year, our experts completed the development of the third generation of gamma ash meters and oxygen analysers and prepared them for production. At the same time, we upgraded our thermal imaging system to a new, more affordable type of thermal imaging camera. Interest in our products has increased significantly, particularly, in countries where coal mining is widespread. We opened permanent sales and service offices in Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, South Korea, Macedonia, Romania, Russia and Ukraine.

In 2010, ENELEX spol. s r.o. joined the alliance of Czech companies producing mining equipment called "Czech Extraction and Mining Technology" with the main goal of strengthening the company's export policy. We established two exclusive representatives of our company in Eastern Europe and Asia - ENELEX Russia and ENELEX Kazakhstan - and in 2011, we delivered the first automatic fuel samplers to Ukraine.

Gradually, we opened new Enelex representative offices in South Africa and India and established a new company, ENELEX Ukraine. In 2014 and 2015, we delivered the first coal quality measurement systems to Russia, South Africa, Montenegro, India, Ukraine and Estonia and the first automatic fuel samplers to Russia. We upgraded both the thermal camera tracking cover and the entire warning system. The camera cover for high temperatures was also renewed.

During this period, we successfully installed the CQMS system for SD a.s. Chomutov and expanded its scope with new devices: 12 GE3000 and 5 ECA Thermofisher for continuous sulphur measurement. As part of this project, we also implemented a new HMGS 2 thermal imaging system and supplied 12 GE3000 and GE3000CM units for the CQMS system installed at the Kolubara mine in Serbia. We delivered our equipment to this site in innovative housings with increased heat resistance. In 2016, we expanded our technology offering to include mobile drainage systems for surface mines. In 2017, we established a new representative office for Indonesia and opened a new Czech technical office in Brno, specialising in samplers. At the end of this year, we plan to start construction of a new assembly hall in Chvaletice for the production of fuel analysers and samplers.
