The camera system is designed for immediate and subsequent traffic monitoring and vehicle identification. It is also used to monitor the open cargo area of trucks and cars. The cameras used for vehicle identification take pictures in the infrared spectrum with a very short shutter speed.
In addition to conventional cameras, the CCTV system is equipped with specialised FLIR thermal imaging cameras for perimeter surveillance in challenging conditions. Thermal imaging cameras can detect people even in total darkness, without daylight, in fog, rain, or through vegetation. The thermal imaging cameras capture and display the radiated heat, providing exceptional performance in detecting people, animals, or machines.
When it is necessary to install cameras in an environment with a high temperature, very often radiation, there is a risk that the operating temperature of the device will exceed the values allowed by the manufacturer. It is, therefore, necessary to cool the camera to a standard operating temperature. In this case, the cameras are placed in a special cooled housing.
The system is used to monitor areas that are important for the operation of machinery, especially material overflows with the risk of cavitation and subsequent forced shutdown of the machine. The system can also be used to monitor the integrity of belt conveyors or the movement of inappropriate objects along them. Furthermore, the system can monitor areas outside the operator's field of vision.
The camera system is designed for immediate and subsequent traffic monitoring and vehicle identification. It is also used to monitor trucks' and cars' open cargo areas. Cameras that capture images in the infrared spectrum with a very short shutter speed are used for vehicle identification. The cameras are equipped with infrared vision for better night vision. Thus, number plates can be recognised on the move and in complete darkness.
The system is decentralised and consists of several separate subsystems installed at all entrances to the building. The camera system is connected to a central server via Ethernet, enabling its further expansion.
The system is equipped with network IP cameras and Milestone XProtect™ control software. Image data is archived on a recording server for a set interval. Surveillance PCs located at the respective workstations and connected to the system via an Ethernet network provide all camera control and viewing. User rights can be set so that only authorised persons have access to image information, control of individual cameras in the system, or its administration and configuration.
The surveillance PC control software provides very convenient live image viewing, zoom control, camera rotation control, and remote PTZ camera control, even with preset positions. The image recording software also allows image recording, including accelerated/slow playback, jumping to a specific date and time, frame-by-frame playback, and searching for motion in the recording of individual cameras in the entire system. In the event of a loss of communication with the central server, the functionality of the local subsystems is fully maintained.

The system is based on the Milestone XProtect™ software, integrating multiple network or analogue cameras into one or more servers. The network server provides a wide range of functions necessary for the protection of the guarded area. The structure of the system is open and supports network cameras from various manufacturers.

All requirements for using cameras are solved individually for a specific installation site according to the customer's wishes. For example, important sites can be monitored at specific times, and alarm events (PIR sensors, motion detection) can be linked to PTZ offers from rotating cameras. These functions are provided automatically, depending on the system settings.
When cameras must be installed in an environment with high temperatures and often radiation, the equipment's operating temperature may exceed the manufacturer's specifications. Therefore, the camera must be cooled to a standard operating temperature. The cameras are then placed in a special cooled housing.

Cooling is achieved by directing a flow of cold air through the filter and pressure regulator to the body of the housing and through nozzles to the front of the housing to cool and protect it from contamination. In most cases, the existing technical air distribution system is used as the compressed air source. In the event of a compressed air failure, a pneumatic or electrical device is installed to move the camera away from a high-temperature area. The housing is fitted with a special transparent glass that does not allow thermal radiation to pass through, thus preventing the sensor from being destroyed. In addition, the image signal from the camera is processed in a standard manner.
The system is used to monitor areas critical to the operation of the machinery, especially material overflows where cavitation and subsequent forced shutdown of the machine may occur. The system is also suitable for monitoring belt conveyors for their integrity or for the movement of inappropriate objects along them. The system is also used to monitor areas outside the operator's field of vision.
Static cameras with a fixed view of the object are installed in these and other important locations. To monitor people moving around a large machine and in places where it is not necessary to monitor the situation continuously, cameras are installed that rotate in both horizontal and vertical directions. These cameras are usually controlled from the operator's cabin. The cameras also use remote zoom, allowing the operator to get a detailed view of the technology or people working.

Considering the demanding conditions, all components have been designed to withstand high levels of vibration and dust. An LCD monitor with additional components is used as a display device. The unit can be used to monitor the image from all cameras on one monitor or to control the rotating cameras. These systems are usually local, with a single display unit (monitor) in the operator's cab.
Professional camera systems for mining machinery and industrial technology CCTV systems by ENELEX are suitable for monitoring various production and technological processes. We specialise in installing camera systems in extremely demanding conditions. Thus, we manufacture special covers of our own design, which can perfectly protect the camera system. We have many years of experience with applications in particularly demanding conditions, such as coal mines and power plants. However, most of our CCTV systems are installed in surface mines.
Heavy industry has a number of pitfalls when it comes to CCTV installation. Extreme vibration, high levels of dust, aggressive environments and the risk of mechanical damage. Conventional camera systems are not designed for such harsh conditions, so we select not only the cameras and lenses themselves but also the camera housings, support structures and control panel equipment according to the requirements of the environment. We use elements from reputable manufacturers with the best performance characteristics at the best price. We find the most suitable solution for each specific application. For the use of cameras in the most demanding conditions, we have developed special camera covers for the HE 168 series, which offer several equipment variants. Using this technology, we install CCTV systems in conditions with high demands on resistance to extreme temperatures.

Full digitalisation makes the CCTV camera system suitable for integration into larger units. The most common application is the transmission of visual information from several cameras of the local system to the company-wide camera system. The system can easily be supplemented with thermal imaging cameras for imaging in the infrared spectrum.
