The AE8 oxygen analyser has been designed to measure the absolute oxygen content of flue gases or other gas mixtures in industrial applications.

/about the product

AE8 Series Oxygen Analysers

Parameter 1
Parameter 2
Parameter 3

The absolute content of residual oxygen in gases produced during combustion or chemical processes is one of the most important indicators for combustion control. By determining the residual oxygen content, optimum thermal efficiency can be achieved, and negative environmental impact can be reduced.

/about the product

The AE8 series oxygen analysers offer modular solutions for demanding applications not only in flue gas measurement but also in the chemical industry

The basic measuring element of the instrument is a ZrO2 solid electrolyte sensor located directly in the flow of the flue gas to be analysed. Probes for gas temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius have a ceramic sensor housing equipped with a heating element; high-temperature probes are heated to operating temperature by the directly measured gases. A stainless steel cover provides both protection and support. This is passed through the wall of the boiler and connected to it by the mounting flange.

Cables connect the probe to the instrument housing, which contains the control electronics and all the other equipment necessary for the instrument's operation. At the bottom of the housing, there is a reference air filter, grommets for connecting the probe, power supply and communication signals, and the calibration gas inlet. Calibration can be performed at up to four points (air + 3 calibration gases) without disassembling the analyser.

The AE8 Series analysers can be upgraded with an automatic calibration unit or supplied with a probe design, depending on the specific application.

Application examples

Energy and heating

By continuously measuring oxygen and then adjusting to the optimum value, fuel consumption can be reduced and emission limits can be met.

Incinerators

Controlled waste incineration increases process efficiency and helps reduce emissions.

Annealing furnaces

Maintaining a controlled atmosphere during the annealing and tempering of metal products is important for surface quality.

Ceramic production

The quality of ceramic products is guaranteed by monitoring the oxygen content, switching to reductive combustion at certain stages of firing and controlling it.

Glass production

Monitoring the oxygen content is important in terms of technology, energy saving and emission reduction.

Limekilns

Monitoring oxygen levels is important for the quality of the resulting product.

Chemical industry

Optimising parameters in chemical processes, protecting gaseous mixtures from explosion and ignition.

Iron and steel production

By controlling the oxygen levels in the air blown into the blast furnace, the production productivity is increased.

On request, it is possible to offer solutions for special applications, such as:

Gas temperature above 1000 degrees Celsius

Measurements in ceramic kilns

Chemical industry measurements

Special mechanical design
